About Me

Hello!

I am Amber Zrust - local photographer, mom, wife, fabric designer and sewist. I grew up in LaMoille, IL - moved around a lot as an adult and then settled in for the last 10 years in Minneapolis, MN. I started shooting photography as a hobby about 10 years ago. In 2015 I started my passion as a birth doula which evolved in to integrating photography with that as well and it all took of from there. In 2020 we moved back to the area in Ladd. Being back in IL in a more rural area, its been difficult finding only birth clients so I started expanding my photography interests. Since then I have taken classes at IVCC to sharpen my skill as a portrait photographer. I am LOVING it. Its such a special thing to capture people in their important moments. Couples, seniors, families, new babies - so many memories that I now get to help people treasure. It's an honor. If you're looking to book a session, I would love to chat!
